Upcoming Workshops
Introduction to Machine Stitched Paper Tapestries- In Person
Join me for a three hour, hands-on workshop where you'll learn several techniques for mark making including mindful doodling, cathartic writing and Gelli plate printing. After you create several layers of marks on sheets of japanese paper, you will tear or cut through your work and stitch the pieces back together (with a sewing machine) to create a one of a kind tapestry. This creative process gives you permission to create without judgement! The workshop is perfect for beginners looking to explore their creativity through a new craft or seasoned stitchers wanting to try something different.
Dates: Saturday, May 3, 2025
Time: 9:30am - 12:30pm
Location: Nielson Park Creative Centre
